This animal disappeared from mainland Australia 3,000 years ago. Now it's back.
Tasmanian devils died out on Australia's mainland due to competition from dingoes and disease. But, after intense re-wilding efforts, seven Tasmanian devils were born in a wild sanctuary for the first time in more than 3,000 years.
